Dust jacket soiled, usual strong color fading to spine's title lettering, clear tape strip at spine head overlapping into front and rear panels with another strip at front panel's upper right overlapping into front flap, another tape stri…p at spine heel also overlapping into panels, some staining to rear panel and at top of rear flap. Black cloth, slight scuffing at spine ends and along bottom board edges, spine's gilt stamped lettering remains bright. Some dark staining to top edge. Three-line red ink stamp for Sanatorium, Mississippi bookseller on front free endpaper. Interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. A very good copy in a good dust jacket. ISBN 0671208896.
