Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Frontispiece Drawing (illustrator). Original dark green blindstamped cloth on boards. I can't make heads-or-tails of the nineteenth century British schoolboy slang, but apparently a gang of boys traps a teacher, ties him up, and leaves him in the boot box (?) all night. Interesting how I have used two colloquialisms in an effort to express my frustration at deciphering the author's ! Previous owner's name and edgeworn. 316 pp. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Book.
