A recipient of many awards of his writing career, Ibbitson, a Globe & Mail political reporter, novelist & non-fiction writer, recently won the 2008 Governor General…'s Award for children's literature for 'The Landing'. Catalyst was first produced in Gravenhurst in 1974 & won the Award of Merit for Achievement in Script at the Georgian Bay Drama Festival that year. Cameron is a playwright, theatre director, drama teacher & writer who teaches at Sheridan College's Theatre and Drama Studies, associated with the University of Toronto.
