Condition: Good. Outline map depicting Florida and the Eastern United States extending towards Canada, as well as the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean without emphasis on any small islands. The map indicates drainage, state boundaries, major cities, and constructed and contemplated railroads, as well as proposed shipping routes. According to the Library of Congress, "this is one of the earliest small-scale government maps to show a railroad network". Multiple fold lines and moderate tears to edges (see image). Scarce. The map measures 36 x 49.5 in.
