He produced visually appealing maps of Lake County, IL and its components. His maps from this atlas are very seldom seen on the market. The color was printed at the time of publication. Shields township hosts the towns of Lake Bluff, Lake forest and part North Chicago. This map is rich in its depictions of transportation. Lake Michigan is on the right. There are four railroads in the map. The Chicago & Northwestern R.R., The Elgin, Joliet and Eastern, the Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul and the Chicago and Milwaukee electric Railway are shown.
