Copy gives brief information on Oregon, it's Climate, Transportation, Education, Agriculture, Willamette Valley, Umpqua Valley, Rogue River Valley Dairying, Horticulture, Stock Raising, Lumber, Milling, Manufacturing and Gold Mining. On the inside is a color map of Oregon. Copy is torn along a few creases. Copy is complete. Small chip along edge. A small rubber stamp mark that reads, "23366" is on the lower edge of the front cover. A small impressed stamp reading, "Columbia Museum Library" is on the upper corner. Text on map is not affected. Copy is clean.

Map and promotional for the state, a broadsheet, 20 ¾ x 27 ¾ inches, folded to narrow 8vo, recto with wrappers and 13 panels of promotional text, covering climate, transportation, education, agriculture, dairying, horticulture stock raising, lumbering, manufacturing, etc., and information about travel and the railroad, verso with a map of the state, the Southern Pacific line and a few trunks in bold black with stops indicated, from the California line to Portland, Indian reservations, lakes, and other features noted. OCLC locates one copy (Yale). Original blue wrappers printed in reverse (tears along several folds repaired with barely detectable clear tape). Very good.
