Binding rubbed & somewhat grimy all over. Damage to bottom spine-end & wear to corners and top spine-end. Forward lean to book. Inner hinges cracked but holding, ink name on flyleaf. Remnant of old newspaper clipping pasted on first page but does not obscure text. Undated but erased pencil date on title page of 1858 and this looks right.
