Hardcover. Condition: Very Good +. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good++ / Near Fine. Reprint. Film Edition. Undated but probably from the mid 1920's - the film, starring Gloria Swanson came out in 1924. THE WRAPPER : The evocative wrapper on this copy is bright, clean, complete and unclipped. It shows a small chip at the base of the spine. The spine is unfaded. Well preserved. Looks sharp in protective plastic. THE BOOK : The book is tight. The boards are unfaded and the corners are sharp. The spine - as ever - is dulled. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean, though ( as usual with Readers Library titles) the text block and closed page edges are browned. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is fragile, but tight. There is a small bookplate on the ffep. A nice copy of a fragile book. Paypal accepted.
