First Edition. 'The discovery of a woman lying dead by an open window and a rifled safe dragged a number of innocent people into a vortex of mystery and thrills'. Sculptor and author of three crime novel: The Man Under the Window (1935), The Tempestuous Wooer (1936), and The Devil on Board (1937). Very scarce title. Very Good, front cover a bit bowed, in Good dustjacket, inch off the top spine end, dime sized chip at mid upper spine, quarter sized chip at mid rear panel, smaller edge chips.
