Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Very Good. First Black Cat Edition 1962 Clean, intact, no highlighting. This book is about why we age, written in non-technical language. The science of aging (gerontology) had a slow start in the first half of the 19th century because of superstition, myth, and quack medicine and ridicule.
