Hardback. 79pp. Illustrated boards with cloth spine.Step by step guide to the process of making lithographs. Tipped in black & white photographs plus some reproductions of lithographs. Ex library book so has been subjected to the usual vandalism of the librarians - traces of removed stickers and pockets plus stamps to various pages. Cloth to spine a little worn and with tears to extremities and a segment approximately half way along the length of the spine. A couple of patches of surface damage to upper board. Corners bumped. Still a very readable guide, Book.

SIGNED and inscribed by Stan Wengenroth on half-title page and dated 1939. Also included are are four handwritten letters by Stan Wengenroth to recipient of book, Samuel T. Shaw. In one of the letters he writes about the death of his wife. Shaw was a noted New York based collector and patron of American art. One of the letters is stapled inside the book while the others are loose and laid-in Dust jacket has some chipping and edge rubbing. Front gutter cracked. Bookplate on front paste-down.
