First edition. The second volume/issue of the Norman Mailer Review. ONE OF 26 LETTERED COPIES ("D") SIGNED BY E. L. DOCTOROW, DON DELILLO, GUNTER GRASS, WILLIAM KENNEDY and Sipiora, the editor. Though the colophon states there were 40 specially bound copies, there were actually 41 total: the 26 lettered copies in cloth; 9 numbered copies in leather, and 6 copies for presentation. Includes a transcript of the Mailer memorial held at Carnegie Hall which was emceed by Charlie Rose and featured readings by Gunter Grass (read by Rose), Kennedy, Tina Brown, DeLillo, Sean Penn, et al; tributes by Doctorow, Gay Talese, et al. Also, "Articles, Interviews, Miscellany," which includes "What's Wrong with America," "Acceptance Speech for National Book Foundation Award," and "The Bodily Function Blues" by Mailer. Over 550 pages, including a bibliography of Mailer's work and 5 pages on the Mailer Writers Colony. Fine. Issued without dust jacket.
