Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Small quarto (265x205x12mm.), c.1890, cloth spine with coloured pictorial front board, eight heavy card pages, each with several coloured images, some shelf wear to board edges, inscription on front inside cover "To Our Dear Winnie from her Mother and Daddie, Christmas 1905" Lines of text amongst the images depicting bread making, bee keeping, gardening etc. as well as Chinese and Indian people involved with tea and spices.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. 10 pages, old name and date (1889?) on second page, also old bookshop stamp. Corners worn, cloth on spine split on one side, soiling con covers, small area of damage on front cover. Beautiful chromolithographic plates. Rare children's book. Worldcat lists only 2 existing copies.
