A nice clean copy of the first impression which is signed by the author, in name only, ie. without dedication, on the title page. The boards are an unusual shiny laminate with crisp white title lettering on the spine. There is a small owner label and a further gift inscription on the front fly leaf and the title page has light toning in a strip along the inner edge giving the page a sort of two tone effect. The pages are clean throughout and, in fact, the book looks to have been hardly read, if at all. The dust jacket looks bright and clean, albeit it seems to be, unfortunately, water/drink stained inside and a little puckered as a result on the outside. Not price clipped, although there is a small tear at the foot of the spine. In all a presentable copy and rather scarce signed. Signed by Author(s).
