Condition: Fair. 1936. 317 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Black cloth with gilt lettering. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

Tight and square, faded at spine, light wear to corners, name on front pastedown and at top of title page, light toning in endpapers. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Front board rubbed in places, several small stains, rear board clean, boards slightly edgeworn, spine sunned/faded, foxing to rep/fep, previous owner's inscription to ffep dated 1 January 1932, very slight spotting to some pp otherwise clean and unmarked, binding sprung but secure.
