Mild page tanning, edges more so, and very sporadic foxing, some old wormholes to preliminaries, and the last few pages, not extending in beyond start of index apart from one hole which extends about half way through the book near the gutter else textblock is in good condition, both hinges slightly slack; card cover with quarter cloth worn and rubbed, particularly the extremities, card also has worm holes. This was Muirhead Bone's copy, his signature on front endpaper.
