    Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Presumed first edition in publisher's green cloth, titled and ruled in black on spine and cover, and publishers device in black on back cover. Here is a mixed edition; Herbert Jenkins on spine and back cover, but with the Lippincott title page. The author, a Frenchman wrote this collection of parodies of famous British authors while in prison camp during WWI. The Publisher's Note by Herbert Jenkins includes the British author's response to the parodies. Includes George Bernard Shaw, H. Rider Haggard, Conrad, Doyle, Oscar Wilde, Kipling, and many more. Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott (1920), 292 pages. Good copy. Darkened spine with wear to spine ends and tips, over opened, and with a small bookstore sticker on front paste down.
