Small label of the Leipzig bookbindery H. Sperling on the front pastedown of each volume. Wear at the spine extremities and corner tips of each volume. Tears and ~1/4" loss at the spine head of V1 and V5. A bit of age-darkening and light rubbing to the volumes, but overall fairly clean but for the edgewear. The front hinge of V2 is starting; and the front fly and half-title page of this volume are detached, but present. Pencilled name (? ) on the front fly of V2.
