    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Cambridge at the University Press, Cambridge, England, U.K. , 1881. First (1st) Printing of the First Edition with the date 1881 on the title page with a notice on the page facing the half-title page that the examination papers "for the Examination to be held in 1881, are now ready". Very Good condition. No Dust Jacket. Possibly ex-library. The text Block is clean, soft white, reasonably tight given its age, straight and square with no markings other than a 5-digit number on the page facing the half-title page. The Binding is full brown cloth with rectangular perimeter design blind tooled in black to both boards, faded on the rear board, gilt title, etc., to the spine, black endpapers showing wear, bumped corners and cloth worn off top and bottom 1/8" of spine and bottom of the boards.
