Extracts from Chants I - VI of Les Chants de Maldoror; and Poesies, and a Bibliographie. This last element is not the least interesting aspect of the book: Remy de Gourmont, Valery Larbaud, and Andre Breton had each at one time or other made copies of the pamphlets called Poesies [published under the name of Ducasse in 1870] in the Bibliotheque Nationale. Finally a more or less complete version of recaptured materials appeared in 1920. The editor then, as now, was Philippe Soupault. 200 pages, with Frontispiece, plate, and fold-out Fac-simile.
