Mit zeitgenössischer handschriftlicher Anmerkung über die geographische Verbreitung der jeweiligen Pflanze. Blatt-Maße ca. 33 x 24 cm. Platten-Maße: ca. 26,5 x 16 cm. -- gut erhalten. -- Happe war Apotheker, Botaniker und Naturalienmaler in Berlin. Seine "Botanica Pharmaceutica" ist ein sehr seltenes Prachtwerk mit hunderten handkolorierten Kupfertafeln. Es erschien in Lieferungen über mehrere Jahre hinweg. Es ist komplett nahezu unauffindbar und selbst einzelne Tafeln sind selten auf dem Markt. || Very rare old colored copper engraving from A. F. Happes' "Botanica Pharmaceutica" (Berlin, 1788-ca.1800). -- in very good condition. With a contemporary handwritten note about the geographical distribution of the respective plant. - Happe was a pharmacist, botanist and natural history painter in Berlin. His "Botanica Pharmaceutica" is a very rare and magnificent work with hundreds of hand-colored copper plates. It appeared in installments over several years.
