Woodblock printed; ink and color on paper; paper covers, bound in string. Very light foxing; a few plates show minor offset. Full color patterns used in Japanese ceramic, kimono, and wall covering designs. This is a design reference book set published by Unsodo. Founded in 1891 as a publishing company that specialized in woodblock prints and used by those involved in arts and crafts, Unsodo is touted as "the only printer in Japan that still publishes woodblock printing publications [.] we continue to produce books and prints by woodblock printing with artisans who carry on traditional woodblock printing techniques.". 2 volumes string-bound; collected in a brown cloth case.
