First edition thus 272C (preceded by the 1955 hardcover release) unknown printing, undated but circa 1955, of a very good softcover with wear to the extremities, a vertical front cover crease, a spine crease, and pages toning. The rear cover has an advertisement for Bravingtons Jewellers of London England. I'm assuming it's also an export edition because there is no price on the front cover, where there would normally be one. Part of the 1936-1959 Collins White Circle Crime Club series, this one featuring Fanny Lynam and her husband Basil throwing a cocktail party in their home, when someone dies eating Fanny's hors d'oeuvres. Of course Fanny begins her own investigation.
