All originally appeared in the editors' famous Beat journal, "the unspeakable visions of the individual,'' & appear here in book form for the first time. Orig. published in hardcover in 1988, this is the First Trade paperback edition from that same year, in 272 pages, with black-and-white photos throughout, Foreword by John Tytell, Index, Selected Bibliography. Condition is VG: very clean with minor rubbing to extremities. Binding firm & square, pages white with very faint tanning to edges. Only real flaw is faint dampstain to lower 1" at outer corners does not impact text in any way.
