Hardback. Condition: Very Good Indeed. An excellently preserved set of post office directory maps of London, complete with four bright folding maps. A scarce set of four colour folding maps issued by the Kelly's Directory. Collated, complete.Dated c1936 due to the motif to the front board of 'By Appointment to the Late King Geor…ge V', who died in 1936.These four maps depict, respectively, the North Western, South Western, North Eastern and South Eastern quadrants of London. With two maps held in slips on each side of the work.Based upon the Ordnance Survey Map, with the sanction of the Controller of H. M. Stationery Office.Kelly's Directory was a trade directory listing businesses, tradespeople, and a general directory of postal addresses in the United Kingdom, similar to today's Yellow Pages.An excellent example of the work. In the publisher's red boards. Externally, very smart, with light marking and a little darkening to boards. Slight rubbing and wear to the spine. Internally, excellent.
