Hardcover. Condition: Good. Complete with both maps. Overall a good tightly bound copy. Devon map has repaired tear and and some double creasing on folds. Cornwall map very good.Hinges repaired and strengthened. Some fading and bubbling to red cloth covers. One advertising page has repaired damage and a page adjacent to end paper. Size - 265mm. x 185mm. x 100mm.(4to.). Pp. 83, xxxii,1218 , x,545 A very heavy book, postage overseas would require an additional charge.

Type: Book Re-backed using original spine, pp 55, xxx, 1281, viii, 570, weighs in excess of 2kg, international shipping by quotation. Lacks map of Devonshire, otherwise complete, internally fine and in remarkable condition for a 91 year old book of this size and weight.

Decorative Cloth. Condition: Fair. Complete with both Large Coloured Fold-Out Maps. The Map of Devonshire is attached to the Title Page and the Map of Cornwall is bound at the beginning of the Cornwall section of the Directory. Red cloth cover with impressed Royal Warrant on the front surrounded by impressed Decoration. Similar decoration on rear and the impress of the lettering on the spine is just visible (nearly all the gold has worn off from front & spine.) Only a minor tear to the Cornwall Map where it joins the book. The Title page is detached but present and the Devonshire Map, attached to it, has a long closed tear extending half the width of the Map. There's a small hole (about 1/4") near Buckland and a narrow piece (1 1/4"x1/8") is missing frim the Bristol Channel near Ilfracombe. Text arranged in Double Columns. Title Page Dated 1910. The Devonshire Section has 1157 Pages (Fore page edges Red for ease of reference) and the Cornwall Section has 532 Pages. 64 Pages of Adverts at the back. 10 1/2" Tall. Please note that the cover is in poor condition, very faded and worn, with a long closed tear down the right side of spine and some small holes frayed in the spine. Corners worn. Hinges broken. A few pages of adverts loose but main text block is firmly bound. No inscriptions. Text is in good, clean condition. Most importantly, both the Coloured Maps are present. Wear to covers and spine, mainly edges and corners, corners bumped and worn, top and bottom of spine bumped and worn, surface of covers patchy and faded, water damage to top 6cm of both covers and spine, internally in good condition, pages crisp and clear, water mark on top edge of the first 30 pages and last few, stain on bottom left corner of first 30 pages + xxxi index pages and upto 295 but gradually getting smaller all the way through, both large maps present, 1st map of Devon, opposite title page is in good condition but has a 10 cm rip above the hinge onto to the map and a 4 cm rip below, also stained on bottom left corner, 2nd map of Cornwall has a large 16 cm rip below the hinge onto the map, front and rear hinges cracked with webbing showing.

Twelfth edition, first printing. Very good in red cloth binding with gilt decoration to the front board and gilt titles to the spine. Some wear to the top and bottom of the (faded) spine. Folding map opposite title page present.
