This book recreates an important era in Warren's history and compliments 'Across the Black Soil Plains'. The hardcover is brown cloth with gold lettering and is in excellent condition. The dust jacket shows some wear with some chipping on the crown of the spine and along the top front edge. There is a small tear on the top, side edge of the front of the DJ. The image on the DJ is painted especially for this edition by John Parkinson. There is some slight foxing on the front and back end papers. There are a few small marks on the top page edges. Signed by Author(s).
