First Edition. 1st Edition gift quality hardcover in blue cloth covered boards with a black illustrated pair of riders on front board gilt spine title, ends are lightly brushed but tips still sharp. Negligible soil on head of page-block. 152pp text is tight, preliminaries lightly foxed, but no markings or highlighting inside. Original dj is unclipped with a tiny closed tear on front cover, head of spine is starting to chip, white background of rear panel has light surface soil but displays well in new mylar. Jill has been dreaming of getting another pony, and here she is, with her prospective new pony in front of her. There's just one problem. Jill doesn't take to Rapide, and Rapide doesn't take to her. But Jill buys him, and then immediately regrets it. How Jill gets over her dislike of Rapide, while managing with her friends to save Mrs. Darcy's riding school, makes this a classic of pony literature.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Name of the previous owner on the title page. Publication of 192 pages. The boards are a touch edge worn and slightly faded marks. There is light foxing on the block of the book and very little with in the body of the book. On the front inner board there is a small number written in blue ink. The front free end paper page has been removed. There are small chipped pieces on the top edges of pages 15 to 26, The text remains legible. Internally the remaining pages are clean and complete.
