This copy out of series, is neither signed nor numbered. It is fine condition in a fine slipcase. Color frontis. by Piper, as well as black and white illustration in the text (2 of them full-page). Music by Elizabeth Maconchy. "This masque was commissioned for performance in Dorchester Abbey, near Oxford, in 1970, and it was planned from the first with the collaboration of the composer Elizabeth Maconchy, and with the special needs of the annual Abbey Festival in mind.
