Add to basketFirst edition. Hardback in red cloth, inside original unclipped dust jacket. Book and dust jacket are both in very good / fine condition. 285 x 225 mm (11¼ x 8¾ inches). With an introduction by Samuel Beckett, this fascinating collection of Edward Quinn's mostly b/w photography uses the same reportage style as Joyce himself often adopted. Rambling around Dublin from dawn to dusk Quinn found himself collecting what Joyce referred to as epiphanies. Not the literary kind, but photographic incidents of daily life and atmospheric places in Ireland's capital city.
