Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Two volume set. Both volumes green cloth on boards with gilt lettering to spine. Light bumping to extremities. Previous owner's inked name on front end paper of second volume. The green dust jackets are unclipped, with light shelf wear. The first volume 'The First Phase' (240pp) was published in 1948,and the second volume 'The Last Phase'(221pp) was published in 1950. The volumes contain portions of a shorter book that was published in 1932. Illustrated with black and white photographic plates. A very scarce two volume set.
