Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition. Format, octavo, 237mm. Physical description, [6], [1] 2 - 104. Plates [1], plus text diagrams and charts. Contents clean and bright. Publishers sand grain cloth backed boards. The upper cover with title etc; in gilt. Overall, a very good plus copy .Médéric de Vasselot de Régné ( 1837 - 1919) was a French-born forest officer trained at the National School of Forestry in Nancy, France. He was the Superintendent of Woods and Forests in South Africa from 1880 to 1891. ' This summary treats of Forest operations immediately essential . a preface to two works urgently required . ' - from the Introduction.' Not traced in Mendelssohn.
