Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Hardcover with DJ. Light brown cloth over boards with black lettering on the front cover and spine. Illustrated DJ has a large chip out at the top of the spine, and one at the top right corner, with a few other nicks here and there. But it's clean, and in one piece, and I've put it in a mylar sleeve. Not price-clipped. No date on title page. Copyright page dated 1947. 159 pages. Pages free of marks. A very good copy overall. Dust Jacket Condition: dj. First Edition. First edition and first printing. Hardcover. A how to guide to cartooning from this frequent contributor to The New Yorker. Features a biographical introduction by Ernest W. Watson. Includes numerous illustrations. A near fine copy in cloth boards and in a close to near fine dust jacket with a tear to the top front corner and some other small tears and edge wear. A very pleasing copy and somewhat uncommon in dust jacket.
