Firmly bound, blue cloth boards with some localized fading, foxing marks on the end papers and closed page edges, college library ink stamp on the front end paper, no other library markings. Jacket in very poor condition with marks, creases and tears, also substantial paper loss from the top of the spine and top back, reprint of the 1950 sixth edition.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Reprint . Reprint 1938, third edition - published in 1939. Signed by previous owner, stamp mark as well. The pressed boards remain strong and square, with bold black lettering to the spine and the front of the book. The blue boards are a little shelf rubbed, chipped pieces, edge worn and minor marks.
