Seller: OldBooksFromTheBasement, Maryland Heights, MO, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. This VG quality book was copyrighted in 1932 and is published by the Goldsmith Publishing Company; it is 7-5/8" tall with 247 numbered pages of text followed by an unnumbered page of ads. This book is square, extremely clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are lightly bumped with no damage but slight fading; the bottom edges have a moderate amount of wear. The spine is clean and not at all faded, and the lettering is clear and intact; the front panel is also extremely clean and has virtually no wear. The exterior looks almost brand new. The interior is free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. Both hinges are quite strong and not damaged in any fashion. The text paper is moderately toned but noticeably more heavily so at the edges; nonetheless, the paper remains flexible and not brittle. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. It has no illustrations. The series list in the back of the book lists all 8 titles in the series. The VG quality jacket is intact, nearly complete and reasonably clean. There are tiny chips at both front corners, with similarly small chips at the head and heel of the spine. The major flaw with the jacket is the spine--it has faded noticeably but all the lettering is still quite legible. The series list on the back panel lists all 8 titles in the series.
