Spiralbound. Condition: Very good. 20 p. Includes illustrations. Printed single sided, with color. Largely a set of vugraphs with Executive Summary or a presented talk. This work was performed in support of the U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Agency, Advanced Simulation and Computing Academic Strategic Alliances Program. This talk, and the vugraphs used, focused on the technical issues associated with the computational simulation of coupled, multicomponent systems, as exemplified by the simulation of solid propellant rock motors. Issues addressed included algorithms for data transfer between components with diverse discretizations, software integration, and scalability on parallel computers. Presumed first edition/first printing thus.
