Condition: Fair. 1938. Third edition, revised. 132 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards. Black and white photographs and diagrams. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Previous owner's name to front pastedown. Boards have moderate to heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces tanned and marked, particularly spine. Boards are slightly bowed.

Condition: Fair. 1946. 5th Edition. 141 pages. Purple pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth. Black and white photos and illustrations. Pages are moderately tanned at the edges, with notable foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards have slight shelf wear with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed with light tanning. Prominent forward lean to text block. Boards are slightly bowed. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, tears and chips. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Heavy loss to all parts of the dust jacket.
