Unbound. Condition: Very Good. Mimeographed magazine. Stapled wrappers. 29 issues: 16-42; 44, 46, [47] (designated as Vol. 4, no. 1). Variant and irregular pagination ranging between 18 to 58 pages. The first 22 issues are crudely mimeographed and mostly illustrated with amateur drawings; the last seven are slickly printed and heavily illustrated with photographs. Age-toning, a few pages detached but they appear complete, some issues with punch holes in the upper margins, overall very good. The newspaper covers current events, new orders, camp sports, movies and music, book reviews, etc., and is heavy on sophomoric Army-themed cartoons. After service in Korea, and then as part of a blocking force to dissuade the Soviet's desire to annex Hokkeido, the 1st Cavalry Division Artillery moved to Camp Younghans, a former Japanese Army Camp near the town of Jinmachi in Yamagata Prefecture on the island of Honshu. Rare. *OCLC* locates no copies.
