Uncolored folded strip map of the Hudson River from Raritan Bay, New Jersey to Schaoticoke above Albany. Fine condition. This map was originally issued in Robert Vandewater's The Tourist, or Pocket Manual for Travellers on the Hudson River ., which was first published in 1830. Comparison of this 1834 issue with the first state shows that several of the names of land owners along the river have been changed but that it is mostly unaltered. Towns, rivers and creeks, and large land owners on both sides of the river are identified. Published by Harper & Brothers.
