433pp. 8vo. Blue cloth, top edge tinted red First Edition so stated. SIGNED by Robert Penn Warren. Translated from the Norwegian for the First Time by Arthur G. Chater. Spine & top edge sunned, binding slightly cocked: VG/no dj.

Condition: Very Good. First Edition. NY: Alfred A. Knopf, 1933. 1st US Edition. 433 p. Hardbound with DJ. The DJ is lightly rubbed along its folds, has edgewear with chipping at extremities, and the spine is slightly faded. The blue cloth boards are lightly rubbed at the spine ends and the head edges are little sunned. Interior pages are clean and the binding is tight. A solid and respectable copy. VG+/VG.
