Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Joanne (Kathleen) Rowling (1997 2007), a full set of all seven Harry Potter UK first edition books, published by Bloomsbury. All are signed by Rowling except the first volume which has a signed bookplate loosely laid in. The books are housed spectacularly in full leather solander boxes for perfect protection, and those in turn placed in a buckram box for easy transport or display on the shelf. No expense has been spared to create the perfect housing environment for the set whilst allowing a beautiful presentation. The set consists of: 1) Harry Potter and the Philosopher s Stone (1997), UK hardback first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Comes with a loose Bloomsbury bookplate signed by Rowling; all first edition points present the Wendy Cooling blurb on the front panel; the rear panel bears the typo with an o missing in Philosopher s and Hogwarts School of Wizardy and Witchcraft instead of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Page 53 lists wand twice as called for. No dust jacket as issued. One of only 500 copies printed of which the majority (300) went into public libraries. This is NOT an ex-library copy. It has been professionally restored (spine tips and boards' corners) by a leading conservationist in the UK and now presents in near fine condition with one closed tear to the first text page as shown. 2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (1998), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Signed by Rowling on the title page. In near fine condition as shown 3) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (1999), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. This is the second state with J.K. Rowling credited correctly on the copyright page. Signed by Rowling on the title page and by the dust jacket illustrator Cliff Wright on the opposite page. In near fine condition. 4) Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2000), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. This is the rarer Scottish variant printed by Omnia. Signed by Rowling on the title page. In very good condition with the page block edges showing ageing 5) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2003), UK first edition, first printing. Signed by the author on the title page. Scarce as a signed first edition since Rowling did not do any promotional tour for this title. In very good condition with some ageing/ yellowing to the page block as shown. 6) Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2005), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Signed and inscribed by the author to Mel on the title page. Exceptionally scarce to find signed as there were no promotional events for this title. 7) Harry Potter the Deathly Hallows (2007), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Signed and inscribed by Rowling on the title page to Lindsey . This copy was signed at the only midnight signing event in July 2007. One of only 1,700 copies signed at the event. A wonderful set of all UK hardback first editions, first prints of the seminal Harry Potter series. Presented beautifully with the solander boxes and treasure case. Ideal for a fan, or as in investment which has beaten inflation and the stock market by far over the past 25 years and counting. First and Fine. Signed by Author(s).

Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. Extremely rare signed first edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The book was signed by J.K. Rowling on the half-title page in the year of publication for a charity auction, where it was won by the previous owner, Rita, who preserved it for over two decades. In early 2025, the book was sold to Adam Houston, The Harry Potter Specialist. Signed copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix are exceptionally scarce, as Rowling did not attend any public signing events around publication due to having recently given birth. The book is in very good condition, with sharp spine ends and corners. There is sun fading to the top edge of the front and rear board, and to the top of the spine. Internally, it is bright and clean, with no ownership inscriptions. The page edges are mildly tanned, as is typically seen. A few very light signs of use are visible along the fore-edge. A fine condition dust jacket has been married to the book. The original sun-faded jacket which protected the boards from further fading is included. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity (LoA) from Adam Houston of The Harry Potter Specialist, the world's sole expert on J.K. Rowling's signature. Also included is an informative collector's card with additional details. For preservation and display, this highly collectible book is housed in a beautiful custom-made half-leather clamshell box. A truly exceptional opportunity to acquire one of the rarest signed Harry Potter books. Signed by Author(s).

Add to basketFirst American edition of the fifth novel in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter Series. Octavo, original illustrated boards, illustrated by Mary Grandpre. Boldly signed by J.K. Rowling on the title page. Fine in a fine dust jacket. Jacket illustration by Mary GrandPre. Jacket design by Mary GrandPre and David Snyder. Rare and desirable signed. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, more than any of the four previous novels in the series, is a coming-of-age story. Harry faces the thorny transition into adulthood, when adult heroes are revealed to be fallible, and matters that seemed black-and-white suddenly come out in shades of gray. Gone is the wide-eyed innocent, the whiz kid of Sorcerer's Stone. Here we have an adolescent who's sometimes sullen, often confused, and always self-questioning. Confronting death again, as well as a startling prophecy, Harry ends his year at Hogwarts exhausted and pensive. "The Order of the Phoenix starts slow, gathers speed and then skateboards, with somersaults, to its furious conclusion. As Harry gets older, Rowling gets better." (John Leonard, The New York Times). It was made into the 2007 film directed by David Yates, starring Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, alongside Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Harry's best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

Signed by five members of the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2003) film cast on the title page, including Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), and Jamie Waylett (Vincent Crabbe). Additionally signed opposite the title page by director Alfonso Cuarà n. With a detailed letter of provenance from the devoted Harry Potter fan who had the book signed by all five actors and the film director during filming of the Prisoner of Azkaban in the summer of 2003 which notes that the book is "signed by a few. cast members I managed to meet when I visited (and patiently waited by the fence) the film set of the Prisoner of Azkaban in the Summer of 2003. I used to live in Virginia Water which has been filming location for many of the Harry Potter Films, the Prisoner of Azkaban was filming there in the Spring/Summer of 2003, I spent numerous days watching the filming and collecting the autographs of the Director & above cast members at Virginia Water Lake in Windsor Great Park (I was a major Harry Potter fan in my youth and used to run a Harry Potter fan site! . The autograph of Daniel Radcliffe was the hardest to get, at the time we were not allowed to approach him directly, and had to wait outside his caravan on the set while his parents took our book to him for signing. All the other cast members were approachable on the edge of the forest where they were filming (As the fencing was just red tape between trees). Was a fun few days collecting the autographs!' Fine in a near fine dust jacket with a closed tear to the rear panel. Small original ownership name to the pastedown, "Rashed." Jacket illustrations by Jason Cockcroft. Near pristine First Canadian edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, signed on the title page in back felt-tip pen. This association copy was signed on 23 October 2007 in one of the green rooms backstage at the Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto for Geoffrey E. Taylor, the artistic director of the International Festival of Authors. Taylor arranged Rowling's 2007 visit to Canada and was only the second director of the festival's 40-year history. Signed copies of the Canadian editions are extremely rare to find. This is the only Canadian signed copy of Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix we have ever seen. The top and bottom left corners of the spine have a small dent; otherwise, the book and dust jacket are in a pristine unread condition. Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First edition, third impression of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, signed by J.K. Rowling on the half-title page. The book was signed in 2003 at a private event at Hamilton & Inches, Royal Jewellers in Edinburgh. This title is one of the hardest Harry Potter books to find signed in any print run, as the author made only one small appearance for the release of the book. The book has minor bumping to the spine ends and the well-known light spot at the end of the lower bookend, caused during the production process. Otherwise, it is in unread, near-pristine condition with exceptionally bright pages. The dust jacket is in near fine condition, with bright colours and hardly any wear. Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. First edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, with J.K. Rowling's signature on an original Bloomsbury bookplate, loosely inserted. It was won in the week after the bookrelease by 9-year-old Will Matthews from Portswood, Southampton, in a competition to write a poem about which Hogwarts house he would like to be in. The competition was organized on June 21st, 2003, by October Books in Portswood, Southampton. The prize, along with a scroll "from the Sorting Hat," was presented by the mayor in early July 2003 at the bookshop and was covered in the Southern Daily Echo newspaper. The bookplate was originally displayed in a frame in Matthews room for a couple of years before being stored inside the book. Signed copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix are exceptionally scarce. This is primarily because Rowling was unable to hold signing events in 2003, as she had recently given birth. Instead of organizing signing events, her publisher, Bloomsbury, distributed a very limited number of signed bookplates to only a handful of carefully selected booksellers, such as WHSmith, for promotional purposes. Most of these bookplates were affixed to copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, making unused bookplates paired with the book like this one extremely rare. Included is the original scroll that came with the prize and a scan of a highly detailed handwritten letter from Will Matthews, featuring the poem he wrote and other details about the competition. The scroll shows signs of use, both the book and the bookplate are in fine condition. A truly remarkable collector's item this rare signed fifth installment of the Harry Potter series comes with well-documented provenance and an exceptional story. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Adam Houston of The Harry Potter Specialist, the world's sole expert on J.K. Rowling's signature, as well as an interesting collector's card. For storage and preservation, this lovely book with the signed bookplate is housed in a beautifully crafted, custom-made half-leather clamshell box. Signed by Author(s).

A publishing phenomenon that reshaped modern fantasy and redefined a generation's relationship to reading. Blending myth, morality, and coming-of-age storytelling, Rowling's seven-volume saga transformed midnight book releases into global events and made Hogwarts a cultural touchstone. Pages faintly toned as usual, some minor foxing to endpapers of volume 3, otherwise all volumes are near fine or better in fine dust jackets, in mylar covers. The signature dates back to 2003, the period when this book was released, making the combination of the note and the book not only special but also highly fitting. 2003 signatures are very scarce because Rowling recently had a baby and wasn't making many public appearances, which is also an explanation for this unusual way of signing. Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. The German alternative cover books were sent out to German booksellers prior to the official release of each book as a thank you. They were never meant to be sold to the public and therefore were printed in extremely low numbers and are incredibly rare. Book 5, the order of the phoenix has a brown dust jacket with the roman numeral V on the front cover, this was to hide the cover art on the actual book underneath the dust jack prior to the official release. Inside there is a special message from J.K. Rowling which reads 'Dear booksellers, I am delighted to know that Harry has had the good fortune to be on your shelves in Germany. I send you all my thanks and best wishes.' This book is in lovely condition with a slight mark to the top of the spine on the dust jacket and some minor spotting to the page edges, overall a copy in near fine condition. Internally clean. Book 6, released two years later in 2005 displays a unique illustration on the dust jacket which differs to the books front cover underneath. Again with a message inside 'Dear Booksellers, Once again I would like to send my special thanks to you all for working so enthusiastically to bring Harry Potter's world to so many German Speaking readers. Very best wishes.' This copy is in very good condition aside from a fairly significant spine lean. Apart from this it's superb and internally clean. Book 7, released in 2007, had a similar design to book 5, with its brown dust jacket and roman numeral VII on the spine, this time it shows a peeled back corner giving us a glimpse at what the front cover may look like. Unfortunately there was no message present from J.K. Rowling in this book. Of the three books in this set, this one is in the best condition. The book and dust jacket are both in fine condition. Internally clean. Overall a beautiful set, very rare to find for sale together.
