Seven tabbed sections: General, Airplane (wings, fuselage, etc), Propeller, Engine, Armament, Equipment, and Misc. Tables). The Propeller section has marginal notations and several loose supplemental inserts. All other sections clean, unmarked and complete. 250 pages, many illustrations. The armament section (121 pp) is particularly interesting, with detailed expositions of gunnery and bombs. A scarce manual, compiled for use by the Air Service, based at McCook field, before the development of Wright-Patterson.
