Very slight damp staining to upper outer corners and adjacent edges of several leaves. Inner hinges are a bit weak and have small splits. Covers have wear to the outer corners. Scattered pages have individual very small spots of browning.

    Condition: Good. Denis Eden (illustrator). First US edition. Lovely painted and patterned paper-covered boards are somewhat soiled near foreedge, with scattered scuffing. Front cover label is soiled. Shelfwear to edges and corners bumped with boards exposed. Black quarter cloth spine is rubbed with heavy shelfwear at head and tail, and spine label heavily rubbed as to be nearly gone. Interior age-toned with scattered soiling. Previous owner's name and markings in pencil to FFEP. Binding fully intact.
