Magazine contributors include Margaret E. Sangster, Henry Crocker, Jeanie Oliver Smith. The unofficial poet laureate of Michigan, Carleton was born in Hudson, Michigan in 1845 and attended the school that was later named for him which was half a mile from the family farm. He died December 1912, six months after the publication of "Every Where Conducted". Four items, sold as a lot.
