Map. First Impression. Folded Map in a duodecimo, {6.5-inch) polychome paper folder, w/ 36 pp. of text. Designed to fit in a coat pocket. H. A. Manning Company was a leading publisher of City Directories in the Northeastern United States. Their head offices were in Schenectady, where in 1944 they maintained a library of 1,000 City Directories in the United States and Canada. In 1913, A. V. Binding gently age worn, joints slightly scuffed, small edge chipping, remains overall attractive as an object. Text block paper is gently toned, light to moderate scattered age spotting, internally still well preserved, tight, sound. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
