Condition: a near fine copy in like dust jacket. The book's boards retain their original grey colour, light shelf wear to edges but nothing excessive. No foxing, no stains, no bookplates. Internally clean. The dust jacket is the first state specimen without any restorations whatsoever. It is NOT price clipped, vibrant in colour without any fading on the spine. Slightest of edge wears. She began her career in 1913, and joined Mack Sennett's Keystone in 1915 and became one of the studio's principal female comic talents. Probably the best known film that we might recognize would be TILLIE'S PUNCTURED ROMANCE in which she played Tillie opposite W.C. Fields. She was married to producer Hal B. Wallis."
