Pery Home (illustrator). 1st Edition. light tan linen-like hard covers and spine, green rectangle outlines in gilt in the upper right corner of the front cover, title and author in gilt lettering over the green back cover is blank, spine is similar with same green rectangle and gilt lettering, publisher in gilt at the bottom of the spine but very faded and rubbed, the spine is heavily damaged by moisture and has a spot about the size of a quarter (although irregularly shaped) which is rubbbed through, loss of color/whitening on about the lower 1/3 of the spine, the front cover is also stained and whitened by moisture about the lower 1/3 to 1/4 of the cover, back cover is similar but with less dark and more white spots, moderate shelf wear, top page edges are heavily soiled, right and bottom page edges are rough cut and lightly soiled, previous owner's name in ink inside the front cover, inner pages are water stained but tight and not warped, 17 chapters and 4 illustrations, illustrations are in full color.
