This, Mr. X's first book, was very successful, detined to be followed by more. Book has slightly rippled pages fore and aft. Longhurst lived in a converted windmill with a notoriously leaky roof and this copy shows signs of its dwelling there. Letter addressed to "Henry Longhurst, Esq., Clayton Windmills, Hassocks, Sussex". Uncommon association piece. Dust jacket protected by mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
