Of particular focus in this volume are Washington's two terms as the first president of a fledgling republic. Signed by James Thomas Flexner on the title page. Also signed by Llewellyn Holland III on the dedication page. Howland was a senior editor Little Brown who worked with Flexner on this volume. Flexner dedicated the book to Howland. Blue cloth, 466 pages. No dust jacket. There's a bit of foxing on the page edges and on the list of other books by Flexner there is a check mark beside one title.
