Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. 2 volumes. First edition. Pp. xxiii, 506, [4] ads.; xiii, 572. Illustrations throughout. In the original green cloth with gilt titles to the spines. Bookplate to the front endpaper in each, with another ownership signature above that, with the second name repeated in faint ink to the heads of the title-pages. Spines a touch sunned, boards a little rubbed and scuffed, but overall a very clean and set and the bindings tight and square.
